The vast majority of my work finds at its core observations and interactions with the everyday, processed and reinvented by myself the artist, resulting in alterations of perceived normal function, augmented or diminished social status, and farcical combinations.Formal elements of scale, materiality and juxtaposition combine with aesthetics of baroque and shop display as modes of reinvention for familiar forms. Ongoing experimentation with non traditional materials of food, light and domestic objects culminate in a bizarre humour while reality is never truly abandoned.
