Student Biography

William Mansfield is a Sydney based new media artist. Mansfield is currently completing his Honours this year in video/sculptural installations at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW. He specialises in video animations, film, photography, sound and electrical installations. His works have been exhibited in group shows throughout Sydney, Newcastle and Berlin as part of the 2005 Touring This is Not Art Festival, and Noise Animations on Rage TV Australia. Most recently he was the recipient of the Experimentation in Film Award, for three of his animations at the Sydney Underground Film Festival. He has assisted and produced an array of feature and short films. Mansfield has been involved in several collaborations with other Sydney based performance and hybrid media artists. Including being the videographer and documenter of the Brown Council and foley artist with Power Media Industries.
