Inspiration for This Work

This work was really inspired by animated films like Madagascar, The Incredibles, and the short film, Burning Safari.

Student Biography

From a young age I have had a great passion for cartoons, comics, drawing and animated films in general. This passion has developed into a fervent desire to be involved in the making of animated films. Throughout my degree I've been exposed to a wide range of new artistic and creative areas and have subsequently accumulated a broad range of skills in these areas. As a artistic practitioner, my primary area of interest and expertise is 3D character animation and modelling. Animation was an area of 3D that I felt I had a natural talent for and creating a walking talking character from nothing is something from which I derive great satisfaction. Having the skills to transform an idea in my head or a sketch on paper, into a complete and animated 3D character, for me, is my greatest creative outlet.
