Inspiration for This Work

I wanted to express the difficulties of being of mixed race and culture in Australia. Although I am not Aboriginal I feel as if us brown and black girls need to unite, embrace our histories and move forward. The fabrics are a mix of stolen Aboriginal motifs and British Liberty Print hankies.
