Student Biography

Born 32 years ago in New Delhi, India to Sri Lankan parents, I am an art student presently doing my Master of Arts in painting at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales. In addition to this I have specialized in the field of cinema as I have completed my Master of Arts in International Cinema from the University of Luton, UK.

I have studied at the British School, New Delhi and the Stafford International School, Colombo and completed my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delhi.

My love for art, drama, poetry, films, music and everything else, which is included in culture, is nothing new. Even as a school student my love for music and drama took top priority and I took part in a summer drama camp in addition to piano lessons. I have always considered myself an artiste with an ‘e’.
