Inspiration for This Work
The idea behind my paintings has to do with my comments toward Hollywood and it's films. I've replaced the character in the movie poster (in this instance, Uma Thurman) with myself in order to comment on the effect Hollywood has on everyday people; how it affects our ideals and actions.

I was born right here in Sydney Australia...
What is your background?
Both my parents are from Malta, my Brothers and I are first generation Australian...
What inspired you to become an artist or designer?
Honestly, I've always been pretty good at painting and drawing. I've continued my studies to expand on my practise...
How has your work evolved over the past 3 years?
I've gone from the use of acrylic paints on bought canvas's, to oils on canvas's I've stretched myself... I've definitely improved my technique and practise, which I'm starting to become quite happy with. I think I've evolved well...
Where would you like to work after university?
I plan to stay at university for another two years to finish off an Art Education course so as to become an art teacher...
