Student Biography
Every moment is a photo in someone's eyes, it is caught, and then either stored or discarded. Yet that moment can never be fixed forever in the mind, therefore the "outer" eye has become a tool to serve the "inner"; eye, for a longer lasting documentation, it becomes a silent echo, a transit to a moment passed.
Portraiture seems to capture moment and subject, making them immortal, which consequently leads to my keen interest within this field of photography.
My works tend to reside on the lives of the ones closest to me in my life, much of the time I focus on domestic themes, relationships, issues on intimacy, voyeurism and materialism, and people within society.
Through photography, I have found my own views and understandings of the world in which we live. It allows me to view things from a distance, to slow down, stop and look at this beautiful world around me.
