Inspiration for This Work

I wanted to show a series of facial expressions which conveys a person’s mood changing. Using only masked solids, this piece is simple yet entertaining.

21st May 1987.

What is your background?

I was born in Sydney Australia with a Chinese background and have been living here since.

What inspired you to become an artist or designer?

Anime and Manga has largely inspired me to become an artist, although drawing was something I’ve always enjoyed doing as a hobby.

Who would you like to work in collaboration with or create something for?

I would like to work with others who share the same values, interest and passion.

How can art and design contribute to society?

Art and design sparks creativity, inspiration and generates innovative ideas for people around us.
