Student Biography

What inspired you to become an artist or designer?

A love of drawing from childhood seemed to weave in and out of my life. Now I draw to feel balanced. Everything comes from drawing and collecting.

Who would you like to work in collaboration with or create something for?

The Historic Houses Trust, a Museum, assist Fiona Hall or Janet Laurence on one of their projects.

How has your work evolved over the past 3 years?

Under the guidance of my lecturers I have found the confidence to be true to myself and understand the context of my work.

How can art and design contribute to society?

We create objects or scenarios that are symptomatic of our society. It is like a reflection or kaleidoscope confronting or entertaining.

Where would you like to work after university?

In my studio.
