Inspiration for This Work

Immersed in its rich polar history Hobart is placed in a position to be one of the world's premier Antarctic gateways for expeditions, research and tourism. Through the metaphor of an iceberg, this vision will be realised in the form of architecture.

Student Biography

Jack's expertise is in exploring design in all its avenues. His major areas of study range from objects, graphic to environmental/spatial design. Jack's current interests lie in exploring the relationship between sustainability and design at a broad level, from detailed objects, urban spaces and ultimately city form. Jack is currently managing his own design studio and working as a designer in a landscape architecture firm where he works within the project teams, utilising his expertise in 2D/3D applications and his diverse design background to explore ways to express project ideas and concepts in a wide range of media.
