Inspiration for This Work

Inspired by the term Affordances, by Donald Norman. This piece of furniture is the result of exploring everyday activity in a living room. Applying what was learned, I coined the term user-ormincs. Ormics is the Greek work for, the-work-of. eg, ergonomics meant the work of the body, economics, the work of the household, etc. Thus, User-omics means the work of the user.
