Inspiration for This Work
This work explores the idea of how details of our memory are lost over time and how we still hold on to what is left, long after its meaning has gone. Note: the audio in this installation is setup using four serperate channels of sound.
Student Biography
I work with time based art, varying the medium from video and audio to sculptural installations. This year my work has concentrated on ideas based on memory; how we revisit our memories and how our understanding of them changes over time. I have further abstracted this concept through my work, 'Fossilised-thought', that deals with the idea of preserving memories.
