Inspiration for This Work

Flying over Australia, the beauty of the Sydney coastline is revealed as hundreds of pristine white sailboats dot the coast. Creating a bold statement from the sky, these sweeping glass sails take flight, drawing attention to Circular Quay as a world class space.

Student Biography

I believe in conceptually bold design. This is a continuous process of enormous, limitless ideas that are restrained to functionality. I believe the transience of light allows a space to constantly shift and transform, while void defines this space as much as physicality. I believe communication in shades of white allows for spatial ideas and concepts to be seen with truth to form and texture. I believe in the understanding of balancing desire and need.

As a spatial designer, inspiration comes from simply observing. I believe in curiosity; interacting with the world around me and the ground I walk on. These observations drive concepts and designs that facilitate dialogue and form a relationship with the user. I believe a design's ability to form this relationship is the key to its success.
