Student Biography

When were you born?

I was born in the Guang Dong province of China, on the 15th of Oct, 1985

What is your background?

I came from the Guang Dong province of China, my family background is Chinese, however, we migrated to Australia when I was 12 years old.

What inspired you to become an artist or designer?

The beauty of fashion gives me the passion...

It somehow, stimulates my inner creativity...

Who would you like to work in collaboration with or create something for?

I want to work with designers who are passionate. I'd like to create sets of jewellery which brings out a new trend!

How has your work evolved over the past 3 years?

Consistently improved technical skills have brought my art pieces to a higher standard. They are not only objects, they are also pieces which convey unique meanings.

How can art and design contribute to society?

I think art is very important to society, because it is a representation of development.

Where would you like to work after university?

Firstly, I would like to travel around, meanwhile gaining different experiences from different working environments.
