When were you born?
Australia.
What is your background?
Australian.
What inspired you to become an artist or designer?
Most artists don't have a choice, they simply have to create.
Who would you like to work in collaboration with or create something for?
I would like to contribute to the Australian film industry. My interests lie in video art, film making, directing, editing, colour grading and titles.
How has your work evolved over the past 3 years?
The first short film I made in 2005 was done so purely on instinct, and won a highly commended prize in a nation wide film competition. Over the last three years I have widened my influences and opened my visual scope to enable a more thoughtful approach to video and film making.
How can art and design contribute to society?
Art can capture the contemporaneous society or reflect upon it. Whatever the approach, artistic practices are ubiquitous, integral and evolving.
Where would you like to work after university?
In the film industry.
