Student Biography

What is your background?

I am currently a sydney-sider but grew up in the gorgeous Blue Mountains.

What inspired you to become an artist or designer?

I felt that as most of my family already are, or are in preparation to become doctors, I needed to branch out creatively and do something different.

How has your work evolved over the past 3 years?

A sophisticated knowledge of photographic practice both in commercial and artistic contexts allows me to understand how the two may be brought together cohesively

How can art and design contribute to society?

I feel that art is a crucial mode of communication and an essential platform from which to scrutinize our surroundings and daily happenings.
