Inspiration for This Work

This project uses innovative folding mechanisms to create a space saving temporary Coffee Stand. The aesthetic of the it reflects the traditional art of coffee making as well as Toby's Estate's Fairtrade efforts in Timor Leste.

Student Biography

I was born in Canberra and when I was growing up my family constantly moved around Australia with my Dad’s job. This journey not only gave me great experiences and memories but also allowed me to meet diverse people and get to know a range of different perspectives on life. This open attitude has stayed with me and is how I try to approach design.

My work has a multi-disciplinary aspect by combining my knowledge from graphic, spatial and object design to create a more rounded and resolved end product. The impact of my designs is also very important to me, both how the design impacts upon the user’s experience & values and how it impacts upon the environment. After University I hope I can work with a company that has similar values and can continue to create designs that are sustainable and diverse.
